London landmark The Gherkin was the scene of the official launch of Zip Heaters UK’s “new generation” of drinking water appliance.
The ‘Zip HydroTap G4’ is a single source drinking water tap that delivers boiling, chilled and sparkling filtered water instantly. The low energy, air-cooled ventilation system reduces standby energy consumption by up to 53 per cent over Zip’s previous models.
Zip Heaters noted that filtered water systems significantly reduce CO2 emissions, and the G4 has been designed to be the most energy efficient and environmentally responsible product in the instant boiling water market.
The appliance is suitable for front and back of house for caterers, chefs, bars and restaurants.
During the London launch event, celebrity chef Aldo Zilli and executive chef Nigel Smith were announced as brand ambassadors for HydroTap G4.
